Prayer for January 22nd’ 2023
Good morning, God —thank you!
Holy Spirit, please help me to be compassionate, kind, humble, meek, patient, modest, and unpretentious, bearing with everyone in love —quieter and more reserved. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
4 By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life.
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
