Good morning, God —thank you!!
You were in Christ when he reconciled the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them; he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. We, believers, are his ambassadors. You are making your appeal through us. Therefore, let us act as representatives of yours as we humbly share the good news and shine.* Walk in your love and grace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
