HaPpy December, God —thank you!!
It’s better to live a simple life with you/Jesus. “Godliness with contentment is great gain.” With a full calendar, I am too busy to focus on you —too much stuff takes me away from your presence. And with a cluttered mind, unguided thoughts distract me from your instruction. But when I put you first and keep you in my conscience in all I do, you shower me with peace and fill my heart’s desires. Everything good comes from you, and I am grateful. Thank you for all your blessings! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
