Good Sunday morning, God —thank you!
You sent your son Jesus/you to save humankind so that we who believe in him shall “not perish, but have everlasting life.” We are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Therefore, I devote myself to him/you and your new laws of love. Humbly, I give you all my care because I trust you with my life, which you made for you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
