Prayer for May 13th’  2022

Good morning, God —thank you! 🙂

As you know, a friend of mine asked what I thought about her loved one using the “End of Life option Act” to take his life due to prolonged, unbearable pain and suffering from cancer v/s his salvation. I told her I would go to your Word for an opinion and pray about that. Some might think of it as “assisted suicide,” but according to scripture, I do not believe it is against Christian doctrine, but death/life by virtue. Most importantly, we maintain a positive attitude while loving you and others, and faith with consistent prayer by trusting you. We, believers, have strong wills and wish to live. The role of medicine can be to prolong life or relieve suffering. Going to heaven is about believing in Jesus as our Savior and guide, not what we decide to do at wit’s end. May peace be with us all, in Jesus. Amen.

Romans 10:9

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.
