There is a firm persuasion within me, an inner conviction —a hope believing in Jesus and the things I cannot see. Holy Spirit, please help me to be obedient to my calling. Let me put aside all self-interest and live for you completely. Depend and rely on you for all things. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
