Daily Prayer for December 13th’ 2021 

Good morning, God —thank you!! 🙂

Indeed when a believer is delivered, we are given this permanent and undeniable joy and peace in you that surpasses all understanding. But, while living in our fleshly bodies and this fallen world, deciding to show joy is an act of resistance. Therefore, Holy Spirit, please help me exude great delight all the time —rejoice in my suffering, knowing that suffering produces character, hope, and patience. In Jesus’ name. Amen. 

James 1:2-4

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Romans 5:3-5

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
