Daily Prayer for November 5th, 2021

Good morning, God—thank you for this Friday! 😊

Let me not be anxious about my life, what I will eat, drink, or wear. But consider the lilies of the field, how they grow, but never toil or spin. Or the birds in the air, how they never sow or reap, but you feed them. Thank you, Father, for always nurturing me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Luke 12:27

27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Hosea 14:5

I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.

Matthew 6:28-30

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
