Daily Prayer for Sept 18th, 2018
Good morning one and only, God—thank You for this day! 🙂
I love You with all my heart, and with all my soul, and with all my strength. And because I love You so much, I want to keep Your commands. Holy Spirit, help me to walk in Your way and obey, all that You put on my heart. <3 In Jesus name. Amen.
Deuteronomy 6:4-9 New International Version (NIV)
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
Ephesians 6:1-3 New International Version (NIV)
6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise—3 “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”
1 Peter 4:16-17 New International Version (NIV)
16 However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. 17 For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
John 15:14 New International Version (NIV)
14 You are my friends if you do what I command.
